Research interests

 

 

• Ticks as a vector of pathogens.

• Tick-borne Diseases (TBD's).

• Using DNA to differentiate between Tick species.

• Role of Tick Salivary glands and Mid-gut in pathogens transmission.

• Control of Ticks using herbal extracts.

• Tick immunobiology.

• Anti-tick vaccines.

• Using PCR and molecular techniques to follow the tick blood meal and assessing the anti-feeding effect of the acaricides against them.
